When selling online on Discogs, I strive to offer low prices, accurate grading, proper packinging and great service.
When listings are added on Discogs, I strive to have one of the lowest prices possible. It does sometime happen where listings are added after my listing with a lower price. In those cases, I would consider a price adjustment.
Things I consider when offering a price adjustment.
1 My price versus the lowest price, assuming grade and version are the same.
2 The feedback rating and number of total feedback received by the other seller(s)
3 Shipping costs
4 A price adjustment will most likely apply to larger value items, where the prices vary. The minimum adjustment would be $1.00 – Example, my price on an item is $1.90 and the lowest price is $1.00 – That listing would not be eligible for an adjustment.
It never hurts to ask for a price adjustment. I’m in the business to move records fast. If a price adjustment is warranted, let’s make a deal
